Fab, Fun, Easter Ideas!

With Easter just around the corner, I thought this would be the perfect theme for today. Use your recycled cans to make adorable little candy containers for Easter. Get out out all of that fun scrapping stuff and embellish with bright ribbons, buttons, rhinestones (a favorite of mine) and use chenille stems to make decorative handles. Any container will work. Nut, coffee and soup cans work well. Glue your decorative paper to the cans and let your imagination do the rest!

Once your basket is made, impress your kids (and grown-ups as well) with these gorgeous eggs decorated from your scrapbooking stash. Trims, stickers, gems and buttons can turn your egg from ordinary into EXTRAORDINARY!
Make sure your eggs are completely dry before
trying to embellish them. I can't wait to see how they turn out!

Springtime Bedroom Revamp

Add Image
Tired of that same old bedroom? Here is a great way to revamp it for Spring! Paint your walls with a deep plum color. Add punch to that boring headboard by covering it with something bright and fresh and wrap it in the middle with a yard of mod floral fabric. Try inexpensive album frames filled with patterned paper to jazz up the bare walls. Add glitz to an existing bedside table by spray painting it with metallic paint. What a difference this will make!!

Monogram Wall Hanging

Here is a custom order that I received over the weekend. I wasn't sure how to do this with all three of the initials but after a few tries this one came out the winner. I love the pink and red rhinestones together with the huge jewels! The teal ribbon really makes a statement too.

Mother's Day Ideas...

It is almost that time of the year again where all of us "Mom's" feel adored and appreciated. I love Mother's Day because it gives me time to stop everything and really cherish and remember how truly blessed I am to have such beautiful and healthy children. I don't worry about the food being thrown all over the floor, or the sassy comments that my tween has for me. Instead I just enjoy them for everything that they are and I watch in awe at how grown up they have become. My daughter is looking more and more like me every day. She has realized that "Mom" has some pretty cool clothes so she has been tearing through my closet when I am not looking. And my little guy is always doing something new and exciting to keep me and his daddy on our toes.

I know what I am asking for this Mother's Day! I found this necklace on etsy and I absolutely love it! www.beadznthing.etsy.com
What a great way to keep your children close to your heart. Personalized pendants are very popular and a fabulous gift idea. These are unique because they can also add a small birthstone to dangle with the pendant instead of the gold heart charm. Too cute!
